This F/W 2022 collection created during my time at the Savannah College of Art and Design was guided by one question. "Who am I?, Where am I?, and What will I become?".
While at this school, I felt I was not in the right place so I set a two-year goal to make it to NYC, and this collection reflected that aspiration. I wanted to hit a stylistic middle ground that reflects being an industry professional without losing sight of my own personality which is more relaxed.
I correlated my current personal style with how I envisioned myself in the future, assuming I had the opportunity (and perhaps the funds) to live to my fullest potential, both emotionally and stylistically.
And just one year later I had in fact been living in NYC for quite some time!
